Use the GTN travel SIM for data
Keep your UK number active for calls and SMS
Switch between SIMs for flexibility.
Iphone eSIM setup
1. Open settings
Go to Settings > Mobile Data.
2. Choose the default line for data
Tap Mobile Data > Select your GTN travel SIM.
Turn on "Allow Mobile Data Switching" if you want the phone to auto-switch to the stronger data network.
3. Choose SIM for calls & texts
Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Default Voice Line.
Choose your UK number if you want to continue receiving UK calls/texts.
4. Disable data roaming on UK SIM
Go to Settings > Mobile Data, tap your UK SIM, and turn off Data Roaming.

Android eSIM setup
1. Open settings
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs or Mobile Network
2. Choose default line for data
Tap Mobile Data > Select your GTN travel SIM
3. Calls and SMS preferences
Set which SIM to use for Calls + SMS.
Often found under Calls/SMS preference or Dual SIM settings.
4. Disable data roaming on UK SIM
Tap your UK SIM > Toggle off Data Roaming to prevent unexpected charges.
